Cosmetically, the BS6 G 310 twins will get a sharp design. Upfront, the bikes will feature full-LED headlamp and turn signals. The motorcycles will also get slimmer side panels that will be extended to sync with the tank design. Design highlights such as golden-finished USD forks and five-spoke alloys will be retained from their BS4 counterparts. Another design update will come in terms of the fuel tank that will feature sharper lines. Furthermore, both the bikes will also get an orange frame, TFT display, ride-by-wire tech with slipper clutch, updated exhaust pipes, and horizontal rear fenders.

Mechanically, the BS6 G 310 twins will be powered by the same engine that powers the TVS Apache RR 310. They get a 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOC unit that will churn out 33.53 bhp power @ 9700 rpm and 27.3 NM torque @ 7700 rpm. The suspension duties will be taken care by a tubular steel frame with 43mm upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock damper. In terms of brakes, the G 310 twins will get a single 300mm front disc clamped with radially mounted calipers and a 240mm rear disc along with dual-channel ABS.

Talking about the price, the BS6 versions will be a little costlier in comparison to the BS4 models. The BS4 versions of the BMW G 310 twins were priced in the range of Rs 2.99 lakhs - Rs 3.49 lakhs (ex-showroom). Once launched, the BMW G 310 twins will rival the likes of KTM Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan
